DP Salvage Yard was opened in 1938 by Bobby Dark. It was taken over by his only son Duane Dark in 1986. Duane ran the Salvage Yard until his death in 2000. After that his daughter Jesse took over the salvage yard. Everyone in town brings their garbage to the salvage yard. Theresa Wisemail has tried to get them to start recycling. Something that they've considered doing recently. DP stands for Dark Passion Point.
