Grayspring Methodist Church

The first Church of Passion Point was St. Catherine's Church It was built in 1712 in Cyan Cove. In 1862 however, Cyan Cove Methodist Church was built. The two churches competed with each other, and in 1881, St. Catherine's Church was destroyed. Cyan Cove Methodist would survive until it was burned down in 1990. In 1995, Randall George would rebuild the church by himself. It was built next to a spring that used to be called Grayspring where St. Catherine's once stood. It now overlooks the graveyard in town. A fact that makes some people in town a little uncomfortable. Randall George is currently the Reverend at the church, and has been for 16 years.
