Bio: Ethan Blackwell was born in 1970 in Indigo Bay. He dated Cassie's mom for a while, before the two broke up, and before he learned that she was pregnant with Cassie. Ethan left town in 1995, and left no way for anyone to contact him. It wasn't until after Cassie's mother and grandmother died that he would come into her life. He returned to Indigo Bay in order to take care of Cassie. The two have a strained relationship. Ethan opened up a gun shop he named "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". In addition to selling guns, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sells fishing equipment, and other sporting goods as well. Ethan seems to have plenty of money, but the shop does well too.

Bio: Cassie Blackwell was born in 1995 in Indigo Bay. Her mom moved her away from Indigo Bay when she was just a baby. Growing up she didn't know much about her father. A year ago, her mother died in a house fire, forcing her to move to Indigo Bay to live with her grandmother. But even that didn't last long. Her grandmother died from a heart attack a couple of months later. It was then that her father returned to Indigo Bay to take care of her. Cassie has made a few friends since living in Indigo Bay, but she didn't seem to have many friends elsewhere. Cassie is friends with Diana Henning and Trinity Mays. Cassie is a sweet girl, and most people comment on how much she looks like her mother.
